TEDx Community

Ideas worth spreading

It’s in Monterey, California, that TED (for Technology, Entertainment and Design) born in 1984. For 30 years, the American TED conference has brought together brilliant minds in their field to share their ideas with the rest of the world on the occasion of an annual event. Faced with its success, the American association TED founded a program called TEDx to expand its community. Every TEDx is organized locally and independently of the initial TED but deliver an experience similar. Their founders and actors are all volunteers.

Since 2019, I am coach for the speakers of TEDxBlois (Centre-Val-de-Loire, France)

For its 1st edition on November 16, 2019 at the Château de Chambord, TEDxBlois offered me to join the adventure by integrating the coaching commission. I had the chance to work with committed volunteers and to help 4 speakers in the preparation of their performance on stage. Each one was rich of singularities and encountered his own challenges. If you want to watch their talk (in French), please find the links at the bottom of this page.

TEDx speaker coaching requires several months of preparation before the event and covers both the content of the talk (as the speaker wishes) and the stage performance. This support can be more intense than in a classic coaching process because TED devotes itself to share ‘ideas worth spreading’ in order to change the world. It is therefore imperative to give life to the speakers’ innovative ideas.

Ambre was one of our coaches for the first edition of TEDxBlois. She sculpted with the speakers word for word the talks. Ambre showed great professionalism, involvement and talent. Her opinions, as much as her words, are always right. She gave a lot of passion and energy to reveal and highlight the talent of those she accompanied’, Lenaïg de Freminville, Founder of TEDxBlois
